Once again there are several things that can be customized here. And once again what we need is near the bottom of the Advanced Start menu options list:. You can see that Scroll Programs is present as before, but so is something labeled Use Personalized Menus.

I would add that I do have rather a lot of programs that I like to experiment with and some do certain things better than others, which is why I keep them. I can get them to scroll, but I would rather have them all on view at once. The answer is simple. Corruption indeed! Particularly considering that many people have the same problem! Not a logical suggestion, is it? If your start menu is, in fact, showing all of your apps, then the 'All Apps' button won't appear.
Because all the apps are showing. If you deselect, guess what, you'll see an 'All Apps' button on your start menu. Of course, pressing it shows all apps. Microsoft website informed me that it could not save existing files, apps, photos, etc.
Now my desktop has just three icons. There is no vertical apps sidebar. I cannot 'pin' anthing to the desktop without this sidebar. I have just upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows This thread is locked.
